- Jeff, to see the actual carrier speed that is negotiated, along with other info,
- add S95=46 to your initialization string. This is what I see when I connect:

- CARRIER 28800 (occasionally 26400)
- PROTOCOL: LAP-M
- COMPRESSION: V.42 BIS
- CONNECT 57600/ARQ

- This works with modems based on the Rockwell chipset and maybe others.
- Like Curt said, check your manual.
